Upgrade Advisory Notice
Upgrades from versions earlier than 11.5
If you are upgrading from a version prior to 11.5 then the following points apply:
ADVISORY NOTICE
MS SQL Server Collation Update
The collation used when running on MS SQL Server may be changed as part of the upgrade to ServiceScheduling 11.5
Due to a documentation error in the ServiceOptimizer pre-requisites which has now been corrected, it is possible when running ServiceScheduling on MS SQL Server, an incorrect database collation may have been set.Â
Where required, the collation will be updated as part of the upgrade to ServiceScheduling 11.5 to address this. No user action is required as part of the upgrade - this is an advisory notice only.
ADVISORY NOTICE
Prior Release Upgrade Advisory Notices
Appropriate prior release upgrade advisory notices must be reviewed as part of the upgrade to ServiceScheduling 11.5
In the event that one or more major releases are being skipped as part of the upgrade to ServiceScheduling 11.5 - that is, whenever the upgrade is from ServiceScheduling 11.3 or any prior version - then all appropriate upgrade advisory notices for the versions being skipped must be reviewed as part of the upgrade process.
