Upgrades from versions earlier than 13.0.6
If you are upgrading from a version prior to 13.0.6 then the following points apply:
ADVISORY NOTICE
Secure Password Storage
As part of upgrading to ServiceScheduling 13.0.6, the insecure INTERNAL authentication method for users has been deprecated.
Users of ServiceScheduling upgrading to ServiceScheduling 13.0.6 will need to ensure that the spsecure utility is run to convert user passwords from the deprecated INTERNAL authentication method to the new SECURED authentication method.
The spsecure utility will be run automatically as part of the dbinstall utility that is run as part of the upgrade process.
