Mobile Application Release Notes

New Features

NEW ServiceMobility now supports enhanced timecard functionality with alerts to the mobile worker on actions to the timecard.

NEW ServiceMobility now allows the payroll timecard functionality of check-in and check-out.  This functionality is configurable at the application level.  When enabled, the mobile worker is required to check-in prior to starting any work orders.  The mobile worker may also specify start and completion of break and completion of day (check-out).

NEW ServiceMobility now reports back timestamp and GPS location at a configurable interval so that the back office (ServiceScheduling, ServiceMobility Web Management Console, etc) would know that the mobile worker's device has connectivity. The default reporting interval is five (5) minutes.

NEW ServiceMobility now supports the ability to require a signature at the work order level given that the work order rule IsSigReq is set to true. Previously, ServiceMobility only supported signature capture requirement by application configuration.

NEW ServiceMobility now allows the mobile worker to manually change a line item's price, given that the work order rule CanSetPrice is set to true.

NEW ServiceMobility now provides the mobile worker to optionally make a line item chargeable when the work order is in warranty when the work order rule CanSetChargeable is true.

NEW ServiceMobility now empowers the mobile worker to manually select and apply one or more work order discounts when the work order rule CanEditDiscounts is true.  By setting a discount's isApplied property to true, the discount will be applied by default upon entry into the work order.  The technician may then manually change what discounts are applied.

NEW ServiceMobility now provides the ability to specify the maximum discount a customer may receive.  This max discount may be specified by percentage off or maximum dollar amount.

NEW ServiceMobility now captures when a mobile worker starts and ends travel to a work order.

NEW ServiceMobility now provides the technician with the ability to view an asset's service history.  This functionality is viewable within the history tab of the work order assets sub-module.

NEW ServiceMobility now supports the ability to display a link within a FlexView field.
