Extensions to Long Jobs

The booking and cancelling of long jobs (jobs with a duration longer than 1 shift) was implemented in ServiceScheduling 9.0. The Request Appointments SOAP API and Book Split Dependency Group Jobs SOAP API have been extended to allow for booking new segments to long jobs, and the Cancel Dependency Group Jobs SOAP API has been extended to allow for cancelling segments of a long job that have not already been completed.

Priority and Importance Added to the Jeopardy Report SOAP API

The Jeopardy Report SOAP API has been extended to add job priority and importance fields to the response.

Alternative Icons with 'Fixed' Padlock to Represent Call Confirmed and Combination of Fixed and Call Confirmed

New icons have been added to the job bar of the Gantt chart to represent call confirmed jobs, jobs which are part of the same customer group, and also call confirmed jobs/same customer group jobs that are fixed.

In addition, there is a new indicator in the job details dialogue for the call confirmed status.

Permissions for 'system' Level User IDs in ServiceManager

With the correct permissions, all user_ids are visible in ServiceManager. However some user_ids are used by the system for inter-process communication. Removal or editing of these can cause the system to become inoperable. This new feature allows for Ids that are identified as ‘system’ type to be not shown with in the ServiceManager user interface.
