Job SparesServiceScheduling now supports dynamic management of spare parts for jobs. This means that it is now possible to update vehicle stock values and use the information for scheduling jobs straight away, without the need forsystem restart. In addition, when vehicle spares are updated, the schedule is refreshed for all operatives who are part of the API request that updates vehicle stock levels. If system parameter Details of actual spare parts used during jobs are now passed in when the job is cleared, rather than relying on calculated spare delta values, which ensures that if spares used for a job differ from what was originally expected required spares are re-evaluated, to ensure that all jobs will be able to be completed based on actual remaining spares. A new jeopardy state has been added to indicate jobs that are in jeopardy as a result of insufficient vehicle stock for assigned jobs. ServiceSchedulingnow supports up to 30 spares items per job. It is now possible to optionally return the details of stock requirements for a job when getting job details via the API. Finally, it is now possible to configure the system to keep a historical record of vehicle stock levels for up to 5 days. See the details in the ServiceOptimizer Integration Guide Change History for ServiceScheduling 11 for further details. |
