Time Entry - Weekly Summary - Activity

Overview

The Time Entry Weekly Summary Activity form (aka Activity form) provides the technician with a detailed breakdown of Category Activities based on all time entries made during a specific week.

The Activity form is list of activties grouped by Week then Category and then by Date. 

The Weekly Summary screen consists of four parts:

Title Bar

Back Button

  • The Back Button is in the left-most position on the title bar. 
  • Upon tapping the Calendar Button, the pop-up calendar form overlays the Activity screen. 

Sort Button (FUTURE)

  • The Sort button is in the right-most position on the title bar.
  • Upon tapping the sort button, the sorting picker form overlays the Activity screen.

Category Header

Category Header

Overview

The category header displays the category total hours for one category.  The category is selected in the Weekly Summary - Activities screen.

Category Header Details

The Icon displayed is based on the category.  Icon size must be 32X32 icons.

The Title is "[Category] Total"

The Time format is as follows: [XX] [h]   [XX] [m].

    • If the total time amount is less than 10 hours, then only display a single numeric character for hours, ex. 9 h 29 m.
    • If the time amount is less than 1 hour then only the minute field is displayed, ex. 23 m.

Activity List

Overview

The Activity List displays all activities from a selected date range and category.        

Activity List Details

The list is sorted in ascending order by day of the week (date and time).  This list details are read only.

Activity List Header

Activity Name

  • The Activity Name is in the left-most position of the top line in the record.
  • This field represents the name of the activity that has an associated time entry record during the selected date range.

Time  Entry

  • The Activity Start/End Time represents the scheduled start time of the work order.
  • The Activity Start/End Time is always visible and is the second line in the record and is left justified.
  • The Activity Start/End Time is configurable to show both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
  • The default time format is the 12-hour time.

Ref #

  • The Reference field is located directly beneath the Activity Start/End Time field in the list record.
  • This field is a free-form alphanumeric character field which the user may use as a reference for the associated Time Activity (i.e. A user would use a work order or customer as a reference to a manually entered work or travel time entry record).
  • This field should be formatted as follows: Ref: [Reference].

Sorting Picker Control

Overview

The sorting picker control displays a picker with sorting options.  Once selected the sort rules are applied to the Weekly Summary - Activity screen.

When the sorting picker is displayed the screen must be in an modal mode.

Cancel Button

  • The Cancel Button is in the left-most position on the title bar. 
  • Upon tapping the Cancel Button, the pop-up calendar form overlays the Activity screen.

Go Button

  • The Go button is in the right-most position on the title bar.
  • Upon tapping the Go button, navigates to the Weekly Summary - Activity screen.
  • Weekly Summary - Activity screen is sorted based on the criteria selected.

Sorting Picker details

  • The following is the list of sorting criteria:
    • Sort by Date - (default) sorts in ascending order by day of the week (date and time)
    • Sort by Ref - sorts by reference number in ascending order
    • Sort by Dur  (short for sort by duration)

Bottom Navigation Bar Elements

Home
  • The Home button is in the 1st position of the Bottom Navigation Bar. 
  • Tapping the Home button navigates to the Field Service Home screen
Daily
  • The Daily button is in the 2nd position of the Bottom Navigation Bar. 
  • This button has no associated navigation in this form and should be highlighted to denote the current business process.
Summary
  • The Summary button is in the 3rd position of the Bottom Navigation Bar. 
  • Tapping the Summary button navigates to the Time Entry - Summary screen.
More
  • This More button is in the 4th position of the Bottom Navigation Bar. 
  • There is currently no navigation defined for this button.
