ServiceGANTT

The Gantt Same Site Report can use partial postcode matching the nature of which can vary from one geographical area to another.  A pattern matching expression for a particular type of partial postcode must first be set up in database table Database sp046_postcode_patterns. Two default patterns are supplied – two for the UK and two for the US. The business must decide which of these is to be used for each FRU and then map the correct one in the database table Database sp060_ru_postcode_patterns.  This mapping cannot be done automatically and so must be done manually (via SQL) before running ServiceOptimizer.  Failure to set up Database sp060_ru_postcode_patterns will result in the Postcode (Partial) tick box in the Same Site Report Configuration screen being disabled.

Gantt Performance can be affected if there are too many gantts trying to connect through a single GanttRouter. In this case it is advised that Multiple GanttRouters are configured.

The Jeopardy and Same Site reports may be colour coded in order to better highlight certain business rules. These colours are configured in Database sp314_gantt_colours, and a default set is delivered with the product. If this set needs to be changed this will have to be done via SQL in conjunction with the business. By default, the Jeopardy Report Colouring is disabled.  To enable it, the system parameter gantt_jeop_amber_days must appear in the database (Database sp083_system_parameters) and have a value other than NULL or zero.
