Install ServiceOptimizer Uninstalling ServiceOptimizer

ServiceOptimizer is uninstalled by executing the ServiceScheduling_install.exe application, and following the prompts presented by the Setup Wizard.

Uninstall Process

As with the installation of ServiceOptimizer, the uninstall process for ServiceOptimizer must be executed from a command line prompt that has been started with administrator privileges.

Step 1: Open Administrator Command Prompt

As noted above, the ServiceScheduling_install.exe application must be executed from a command line prompt that has been started with administrator privileges (see Fig. 1).

Step 2: Run Installer

From within the command line prompt that has been started with administrator privileges, run the ServiceScheduling_install.exe application. This will display the welcome screen for the Repair or Remove Installation Wizard (see Fig. 2).

To uninstall ServiceOptimizer, click on the Remove button, then click on the Next button.

Step 3: Remove ServiceOptimizer

At this point, ServiceOptimizer is ready to be uninstalled (see Fig. 3). This final dialog presents an opportunity to either completely cancel the uninstall, or to return to the preceding dialog.

When ready, click the Remove button to uninstall ServiceOptimizer.

Step 4: Uninstall Finished

Once the uninstall of ServiceOptimizer is completed (see Fig. 4), click the Finish button.

Note

If the uninstallation process is executed while ServiceOptimizer is running, a prompt will be displayed, warning that the service is still running (see Fig. 5).

Upon selecting 'OK', the uninstall process will continue and complete, with the service being stopped and then removed.
