Configuring Jeopardy

An FRU Process relies on Database sp083_system_parameters and Database sp213_scheduler_parameters to configure the jeopardy states to be monitored etc.

The business needs to determine how these parameters should be set to meet their business requirements. Ideally, the business users should update the parameters using the appropriate screens within the ServiceManager web application.

They are given below for information only.

jeop_check_states

O

Set of Work Item status jeopardy checks to be reported (order is irrelevant but case is important):

E - Late Earmarked

C - Late Contacted

T - Late Travelling

N - Late Logged On

F - Late Logged Off

U - Unresourced.

M - Missed appointment (late)

Me - Missed appointment (early)

P - Past contract latest

B - Early for contract

S - Outside normal shift.

O - Exceeds max. overtime

J - Job overlapped by job

X - Job overlapping unmoveable job or standard activity

De - Failed dispatch delivery for earmark

Du - Failed dispatch delivery for unearmark

Dr - Failed dispatch delivery for reearmark

Db - Failed dispatch delivery for batch earmark

A – All Day Job Unsuitable Shift

Se – Outside Service Hours

Ac – Outside Access Hours

Gu – Another Job in the Dependency Group is Unresourced

Gs – Jobs which a specified to be allocated to the same Operative are not

Gd – Jobs which a specified to be allocated to a different Operative are not

Gt – A Job is outside its specified Time Dependency n relation to the other Job(s) in the Dependency Group.

jeop_scan_time

The time (in minutes) between jeopardy scans to update jeopardy warnings for jobs in late status jeopardy e.g. late contacted.  This setting does not affect the setting of other jeopardy warning conditions.

jeop_tol_earmark

O

If job is not Earmarked by given time times/plus this factor then it is put in Jeopardy (percentage or minutes) - note this can only occur if disp_earmarked_jobs_max has been reached.

jeop_tol_late_appt

O

If job starts after its appointment hours by more than this amount, job is in jeopardy (amount is in minutes).

jeop_tol_late_job

O

If job starts after its access hours by more than this amount, job is in jeopardy (amount is in minutes).

jeop_tol_loggedoff

O

If job is not Logged Off by given time times/plus this factor then it is put in Jeopardy (percentage or minutes).

jeop_tol_logged

O

If job is not Logged On by given time times/plus this factor then it is put in Jeopardy (percentage or minutes).

jeop_tol_overlap

O

If job overlaps (job, standard activity, outside shift or overtime) by this much (in minutes) then it is put in Jeopardy.

jeop_tol_travel

O

If job status is not Travelling by given time plus this amount (in minutes) then it is put in Jeopardy.
