Install ServiceOptimizer Deploying ServiceOptimizer Installing the Travel Matrix

  1. Ensure a Travel Matrix is available. 
  2. The .tm2 file(s) from the DVD(s) need to be copied into a directory on the same machine as the ServiceOptimizer instance and the system must be configured for their use – see System Configuration in the ServiceOptimizer Admin Guide. ServicePower consultancy or Support can help with this exercise if required.
  3. If there is already an existing Travel Matrix set up and you wish to upgrade to a newer version then follow the Install Instructions supplied with the Travel Matrix DVD.
  4. If the postcode TravelMatrix is also to be used follow the instructions included in the RJServer_Install_Guide. Once installed, the system must be configured to use this matrix. Again, see System Configuration in the ServiceOptimizer Admin Guide.
Please inform the ServicePower Customer Care Team on installation of a new Travel Matrix. This will assist in keeping our records up to date and will help us to provide an efficient support service.

 

(question) Where can I get a Travel Matrix?

Separate Travel Matrix DVDs for each geography will have been provided, by ServicePower, for each Geography in use.
