Tomcat Management

The ServiceManager installation bundle includes the Tomcat application server. Assuming ServiceManager has been installed using the default settings and is running, the Tomcat home page can be found at http://<machine-address>:8080 (no /SERVICEManager suffix) - see image.

Tomcat comes with a Manager application; however it is recommended NOT to use Tomcat's Manager application to stop and start the SERVICEManager web application because this could lead to memory leaks.

The recommended way to stop and start ServiceManager is to stop and start the Tomcat service.
