SWAT supports the use of the ‘owner’/’User’ method of ServiceScheduling DB set up.  If this is being used then the Import and setup of the ServiceScheduling environment must be done independent of SWAT.   Where steps in the install process require access the database then special consideration needs to be given to which schema this is (generally it will be the ‘owner’).  It should be remembered that SWAT adds objects to both the ServiceScheduling schema and the SWAT console schema and the user requires access to all these objects.

It is also worth remembering that if the ImportType is not set to ‘datapump’ and RRPSkills is not set to ‘No’ then while running SWAT database objects will be manipulated and that may require higher permission that the user is likely to have.  If you have concerns in this area please contact your ServicePower representative.
