Mobile Application Release Notes

New Features

NEW Work order signature capture requirements can now be overridden at an account location level.

NEW Service Mobility now supports different job types for jobs that have been received from ServiceOperations. This allows a servicer to still maintain their own list of private job types for their own customers, while also using the standard job types when accepting a job from ServiceOperations.

NEW ServiceMobility now supports advanced time constraints associated with jobs. Previously ServiceMobility only supported a single appointment window range.

Resolved Issues

FIXED Resolved an issue where the signature capture screen was not properly rendering on Android devices.

ESB Release Notes

New Features

NEW JSON Web Token (JWT) authentication is now support for all REST APIs. Please review the REST Integration Guide for complete details on JWTs.

Excel Data Import API

NEW New API allows Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to be used to import data. The following object are currently supported: accounts, account locations, users, work orders and products.

Application Changes

Account API

CHANGE The POST operation now supports upserts. An upsert means it will wither update an existing record or insert a new record if none exists.

Inventory Load API

CHANGE No longer requires an association to an active user.

CHANGE No longer allows changes to an existing shipment.

CHANGE Now validates that all serial numbers within the shipment are unique.

CHANGE Now automatically applies a forced load (inventory adjustment) on the server and sets the status to 1002 (received). Previously the forced load would have to be received by the mobile device, auto applied, and then the adjustment transactions uploaded to the server. This delay could be confusing for a back office worker.

Product API

CHANGE Now supports the DELETE operation.

CHANGE Increase the Desc length to 100 characters.

CHANGE Deleted and IsBatch fields are now optional.

User API

CHANGE Password field is now optional.

Work Order API

CHANGE Now accepts the new time constraint format.  Please see REST Integration Guide for complete details.

CHANGE Allows updates to work order tasks in POST operation.

CHANGE Allows updates to work order assets in POST operation.

CHANGE Now allows products that aren't in the product catalog to be added to a work order.

Work Order Export API

CHANGE JWT authentication is now supported.
