14.1 Auditing Tables

Many actions within the system, both user and automated, are audited for reporting purposes. This auditing creates further entries into a number of audit tables within the database.

Whether or not auditing occurs in the various functional areas of the databases is determined by the settings of a number of parameters in the 14.1 Scheduling Parameters Tables.

Some auditing is then handled automatally, by triggers etc. However, other auditing is manual, in that the user needs to enter some information to explain why they took some action, via the Gantt. It is possible to configure the system for pre-set reasons and tables are required to support this functionality.
