14.1 Database Installation

This section includes those tables used to drive the dbinstall process. Any new major version of the ServiceOptimizer product may include changes to the database. Functionality is provided such that any existing database may be automatically upgraded to the new version, using the dbinstall tool. This tool makes use of the database itself to know what is required for the update.
