14.1 Users, Roles, Profiles and Permissions Tables

All users of the system need to be set up as appropriate in the database to configure their access to the various parts of the system. This includes administrative users, users of the various applications (both manual and via API interfaces) and automated database process users. A number of tables are used to administer these various usages.
