In addition, customers must be knowledgeable in the setup, configuration, management and monitoring of the Tomcat Java Application Server.

Hardware Requirements

It is not possible to specify hardware requirements within this document as the sizing of the system depends on things such as number of employees being scheduled, the number of jobs being scheduled, the workflow used for those jobs, etc.

ServicePower strongly recommends that you work with our consultancy team to determine the hardware requirements for your specific ServiceSWAT use case.

Software Requirements

Java Application Server

Note that:

  • ServiceManager has been validated against Tomcat 7.0.42.
  • The prerequisites are for the operation of ServiceSWAT within its containing Java Application Server. The supported Java Application Server provides options to coexist ("plug in to") various industrial web server platforms; however, ServiceSWAT is supported at the point of entry into the Java Application Server.

Other Requirements

  • The major version of ServiceSWAT must be the same as that for the related ServiceScheduling instance.
  • For example, ServiceSWAT 9.0.x.y will work with ServiceScheduling 9.0.a.b.
  • However, ServiceSWAT 9.1.x.y will not work with ServiceScheduling 9.0.a.b.
