Oracle Database UTF-8 Requirement

The Oracle schema must be installed in a UTF-8 database

The ServicePower database must be upgraded to UTF-8 for Oracle database users. The ServiceOptimizer Install Guide gives details of how to upgrade your database, however it should be noted that the upgrade time will be longer than the usual time for dbinstall to run and complete, if the schema is currently in a non-UTF-8 database.
