Oracle Database UTF-8 Requirement

Oracle Database installations now require a UTF-8 schema

The ServicePower database schema will need to must be upgraded to UTF-8 for Oracle database users. The System Admin ServiceOptimizer Install Guide gives details of how to upgrade your database, however it should be noted that the upgrade time will be longer than the usual time for dbinstall to run and complete.
